Acupuncturist Master Kim is the founder of Gateway to Health
Acupuncture Clinic. He is also a martial arts teacher and Grand Master
and founder of the Beverly Hills Martial Arts Center.
Some are surprised to learn that an accomplished martial artist would
also be an acupuncturist. However, the journey from warrior to healer
was a natural progression. Traditionally, a Grand Master's studies
included acupuncture, oriental herbs and meditative techniques such
as Ki Gong (Chi Gong) and T'ai Chi. He brings his background in
bringing out the best in students to his approach to oriental medicine.
Patients may seek treatment for debilitating illnesses such as diabetes
and asthma while others seek to enhance athletic performance
through acupuncture and oriental medicine. Regardless of reason for
treatment, Master Kim's treatment goal is to provide optimal health to
his patients.
